Summer of Tropes: Romance Landia Summer Reading Program
Join us for the Summer of Tropes, Romance Landia’s annual summer reading program designed for romance readers everywhere! Whether you're local or participating from across the country, this community-driven challenge is all about celebrating the tropes we love most.
Participants choose a trope team, track the books they read throughout the summer, and earn points for their reading progress. Bonus points can be earned by completing trope challenges, attending events, engaging with the bookstore, and supporting indie authors.
At the end of the program, all participants will use the points they’ve earned to bid on prizes in our exciting end-of-summer auction, featuring signed books, book bundles, bookstore merch, and other bookish surprises.
How It Works
Register for the program and choose your trope team.
Read romance books all summer long.
Submit your reads to earn points.
Complete trope challenges for bonus points.
Use your points to bid on prizes during the final auction (Virtual)!

Participants can join by purchasing a Summer of Tropes Passport ($5–$10), which gives you access to the reading challenge, point tracking, and the end-of-summer auction.
