Romance, Rewritten: An Indie Author Weekend Event

An Indie Book Festival | June 12–14 | Centreville, MD

Romance, Rewritten is a three-day, community-centered indie author festival created to celebrate integrity, transparency, and connection within the romance community.

This event is completely free for participating authors and open to the public at no cost. Our goal is simple: create a welcoming and supportive space where authors and readers can connect.

Over the course of the weekend, we will host:

• 6 authors on Friday, June 12
• 6 authors Saturday morning + 6 Saturday afternoon , June 13
• 6 authors Sunday morning + 6 Sunday afternoon, June 14

Each session will be structured to allow meaningful reader interaction, signing time, and community engagement.

This weekend is built on:

• Author-first values
• Professional communication
• Transparency in planning
• A safe, respectful environment
• Celebration of indie romance
