In a country where healthcare is something only the rich can access, The Medic is a mysterious vigilante figure who robs PrimaVera Med drones to deliver life-saving medicine to the working class.
28-year old Luca Rome is disabled, walks with a cane, is roommates with an escaped android, and oh yeah--she's The Medic. After a car crash permanently damaged her spine and she couldn't afford the cyborg surgery to alleviate her chronic pain she decided she was sick of standing by and watching everyday people suffer from lack of access to medical care. She's now one of the most wanted criminals in the country.
When one of her late night drone hits is witnessed by a cyborg named Tobias she's convinced she's screwed and prison awaits. But it turns out Tobias is a wanted criminal too, having recently escaped prison where he was given a life sentence for attempting to assassinate the owner of PrimaVera Med.
Tobias asks Luca to team up with him and his friends to expose a much darker secret about PrimaVera Med and the truth about the real cost of cyborg surgery. Luca is skeptical at first but ultimately decides it's high time for things to change.
Luca knows it's dangerous to trust Tobias, not just with her true identity as The Medic, but wtih her heart. Can they save their country or will they die trying?
